Available for Older Adults

RFP Instructions and Guidelines                 Creative Aging Project Grant Application

WCCA Invites not-for profit organizations to submit proposals to create new art programs that will enrich the lives of older adults. All areas of art disciplines will be considered in the review process. Not- for-profits will be required to hire professional artists experienced in working with older adults through creative arts projects. Each granted project will commit to a public event that celebrates the creative outcomes of the programs.

The mission of WCCA is to foster and expand creative aging programs in Westchester County. This grant will allow not-for-profits who are awarded grant monies the opportunity to offer more enriched and innovative creative aging programs. Organizations are encouraged to hire experienced artists, such as those listed in the Creative Aging resource guide, to deliver quality and meaningful artistic experiences for older adults.

In accordance with the Andrus Foundations mission to create elder friendly settings, the grants awarded through WCCA will provide positive creative environments for the participants, full of potentially rewarding personal and social experiences as well.
